"Netball has a track record of good performances. We are confident that they and Team Fiji will do well in Papua New Guinea."
Netball Fiji President, Wainkiti Bogidrau, welcomed the sponsorship saying it would go a long way in funding their efforts to the Pacific Games in Port Moresby.
"We have had a very positive build up to leading up to our international competitions later this year. The matches against the Silver Ferns, Samoa, Singapore and the PNG Pepes have allowed our girls to play high level completion locally. We were happy to play these internationals here in Fiji in front of our supporters. The good support from our Fijian fans will be a major motivation for the girls. The fitness and conditioning
specialist plus Kate's programmes have set us up well to win Gold in Papua New Guinea. We thank BSP for starting our fundraising."
Netball Fiji are hosting a fundraising drive tomorrow night at the Holiday Inn targeting to collect $300,000 for the Pacific Games and World Cup campaign. Major Corporates have been invited to attend.
