BSP Unsecured Personal Loan picks up momentum

BSP is pleased to announce a growth of over 10% in the value of approved Unsecured Personal Loans (UPL) in December 2013 with more expected in January. This growth in both number of approved customer applications and the value of loan funds released is a positive indication of BSP's confidence in the Fiji market.

BSP’s UPL allows an existing BSP account holder to apply for a UPL and get a response within 24hours. The additional benefit to BSP customers is that they have their very own Personal Banker to assist them with everything from opening a new loan account to taking that personal loan or even financing a home.

“A major contributing factor to the success of UPLs has been our ongoing investment to up-skill our people who perform these duties so they listen to the customer and provide them with tailor-made solutions,” assured Mr McCarthy.
