Shoppers gave BSP EFTPoS a vote of confidence in December with more than 25% growth in usage compared to the previous month setting a new record for BSP.
Fiji’s leading bank has attributed the success to recent marketing promotions that have involved customers and BSP EFTPoS merchant partners. “More and more shoppers are taking advantage of the current BSP Smart Shopper promotion where they could win cool smartphones for choosing to use their BSP Easycard or BSP MasterCard instead of carrying cash,” said BSP GM Retail Banking, Mr Ravindra Singh.
“BSP Green Day in supermarkets was received well by our BSP EFTPoS merchants and we realise the value of joint promotions that better serve our mutual customers and the public at large,” said Mr Singh. Cashiers were decked in “BSP EFTPoS – the smarter way to pay” t-shirts and looked bright
“We take this opportunity to thank our valued customers and the other bank card holders who have swiped on BSP EFTPoS during December and we urge more swipes in January because a higher result will mean a larger donation to charity,” commended Mr Singh.
BSP is donating 10 cents for every successful card swipe on BSP EFTPoS between 1 December 2013 and 2 February 2014. All bank cards or credits are included in this initiative and BSP is confident that the naturally kind trait in all Fijians will show through in the increased customer traffic on BSP EFTPoS.
BSP EFTPoS is available Fiji wide and offers a payment gateway for payments, purchases and cash-out with those purchases. BSP Easycard or MoneyZone account holders can also use BSP EFTPoS to check their account balances.
