BSP Country Manager, Mr Kevin McCarthy confirms that Nausori, Valelevu, Samabula, Pacific House, Thomson Street, Pacific Harbour, Damodar City, Suva Central branches were closed and staff sent home.
"We would like to assure our customers that our SMS Banking, EFTPoS and ATM services remain operational for their convenience," said Mr McCarthy.
While weather and telecommunication services may cause intermittent disruptions to electronic banking services, BSP personnel are on call to ensure that these critical banking services is available to registered customers.
"I would like to encourage customers to call our 132 888 customer help line to register for SMS banking services especially during this time. This will allow them to top up their mobiles from the safety of their homes and stay in touch with loved ones," assured Mr McCarthy.
