Kevin McCarthy has been appointed Bank South Pacific Country Head for Fiji.
Mr McCarthy will oversee the Banking business and work with the both Banking and Life Insurance businesses to develop strategic plans, which will facilitate Board and Directors discussions as to how the Life Insurance business can be best developed going forward.
BSP operates under a "functional management structure with each business unit reporting to and working with Head Office in PNG in line with their management structure.

In the coming months the re-branding of Colonial to BSP will commence. The re-branding will affect Colonial National Bank branches only while the Colonial branding will remain on the Life Insurance business.
Mr McCarthy previously worked for Westpac in Fiji from 1992 to 1996. He also held posts in the Solomons, Samoa and in the last 7 years in Papua New Guinea.
